Still here tough guy!

Almost 9 years to the day. The first app I ever published is still in the App Store as well.

Sup mac, been through something similer to yourself, out the other end and ready to get going again, still got 5 apps live, but done nothing to them in 3 years lol miss this place and the forum :)

Hey Higgey! Wish a few more would hop on and rescue the platform.

ive been wishing that for years guys, surley theres somoneone out there that could rescue the platform, charge more money monthly, make it profitable for them ???plugin makers, charging extra for updates to there yearly plugin updates ???

Alas, it might be that the golden age has gone. I think the only viable solution would be if we all got together and either bought the platform or created our own one.

The lofty days may be in the past but there is still something here worth saving.

I couldn't agree more. I must admit I was so excited to see Christopher Coffee's (cmcoffee91) post that he is available to assist with plugin fixes because he is a genius when it comes to BT and he has helped me so much latest fixing some of my Android plugins especially the BT PDF plugin which no longer works on any target sdk above 23 so was a big issue for me.

can we not find out out who to buy the platform from, the platform needed more money to survice they should of just increased it and made it more profitable for them, and concentrated on the seriouse app builders, theres a lot of talent here, with a huge gap in the market, does anyone know how much it was sold to the austrailian guy, most of my android apps have been removed, because of errors, i personally would invest in buying the platform

I also periodically check in to see if there has been any activity. I still use the platform to maintain/create apps so haven't walked away just yet. I've left a few posts about the direction of BT only to have my posts deleted by admin so have given up on that front. Maybe the lot of you will have better luck.

The platform might not be for sale. Maybe the owner is making a profit as it is? Who knows? It might be worth buying if available but it might be easier to start from scratch. One thing is for sure, you are right about the gap in the market, FunkyMonkey.

he might be making a profit as it stands, but i cant update my apps and there closing all my android ones down, people will be cancelling there memberships as it isnt viable anymore, but if the the platform was live and maintaened, not only could you charge more but it would get back to one of the best forums out there, what was the previouse owners name,

Hi All, Good to see familiar names on this thread !! Long story short, I am open to handing over the reins. Since acquiring BT, my focus has changed and BT deserves and needs more attention. Like I said when buying it, it was a business decision, it will be the same going forward, I will be putting up a "For Sale" post up over the weekend. Ideally. I hope a few of you get together and purchase it outright and are able to add value and revive the community. It will be a sad day, but the right thing for BT. The legacy should continue. Hi All, Just to advise everyone that I will be closing off offers at the COB on Friday the 29th November 2019. If there are suitable offers I will make a decision and move on from there. If there aren't BT will continue on as-is for now while it is still a reasonably profitable business stream for my company. Like I mentioned in my other post, I will be removing that post on Sunday and will be engaging with those that have expressed interest during next week. Hopefully exciting times ahead for this forum. To me, the best way forward for BT is for an injection of new blood and passion. Kristen
