Local Directory idea

I have been toying with the idea of creating a local directory app. I plain on using a wordpress website to house all the data. I'm trying to figure out the best approach for displaying that data in the app. The options I have thought of how to develop the app. 1. The easy way would be to use webviews that would show a map and listing of locations using jquery but I'm worried about webviews not getting approved. 2. Then I thought I could just use the RSS reader plug with the RSS feed from wordpress. this would be another quick way 3. Json.. using a json api feed from wordpress. I really want the ability for users to view the locations on the map, click on the locations and view more details about the location (name, phone, address). Each location would allow users to comment and rate. Has anyone worked on something similar? If so, how have you done it? Thank you, epicweb

Hi Epic. A fellow BT developer Sharon Henry built this: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hyde-park-atx/id657006592?mt=8 She would be a great source for your app idea. (https://www.buzztouch.com/shenry)

Hi Epic, I did something similar, used rss to pull feed from a directory created in WP. But it didn't have a map. I didn't have any problems with App store approval, but I did include a quiz.
