Hi GuYs!! :D

I'm Amber; but all of my(2)friends call me Commander (hehe). I am not particularly "new" per se to Buzztouch as I have had this account for a few months now, and though I am rich with several ideas of marvelous apps that I would like to create, I am finding myself a bit overwhelmed with this learning process which has caused a lack in concentration in engaging on this site as often as I should. I have high functioning autism (so I have my share of difficulties that I am anticipating along the way but I don't want them to 'stop' me) I am currently a business and marketing major and previously an aspiring artist of music. I have ideas that I'm sure could change the world... but I know I need to focus. Some of the terminology (I would say) is the biggest discouragement for me here on Buzztouch and I often seem to learn easier through bullet directions verses detailed instructions. So I guess all in all, I just figured that it would be nice if I were able to find someone willing to communicate with me every once in a while if for nothing more than keeping motivated to return to the site regularly. I'd greatly appreciate any and all help or advice and I look forward to hopefully adding a third friend to my life, Lol. Thanks for listening guys, :)

Hi Amber! • Everyone had to start somewhere. Don't sweat it. • Doing the BTU courses is a great start. Nice going! • If you have questions, the forum has the greatest bunch of folks willing to help. • Don't reload a page you've submitted to, twice; you'll double post. Exit and re-load. • It's all about having fun learning. Enjoy yourself! Cheers! -- Smug

Hey! Commander :) Totally get what you are saying with being overwhelmed! Label it or not we all get overwhelmed. But guess what? You are doing EXACTLY what you are doing is the very first step! Reaching out :) The forum is the best tool to bounce off ideas and get support. Just remember you are not in a race. You will not be graded. The sky is the limit! Susan, Andrea & myself were one of the first women on here that struggled just like you. We started women of Buzztouch and can find us on facebook. It helps just teaming up with someone to bounce ideas off of... https://www.facebook.com/buzztouchwomen We are slowing getting a support group started not just for women but everyone who needs one on one mentoring. Smug gave a great list for you already. But honestly create a schedule. One step at time. You are your own leader and you can do anything you dream girl! Welcome back and hope to connect more!!! Sheri
