use my email server

I have a email (SMTP/POP) server that I would like to use instead of having the user use his/her email client. Does anyone have a plugin/script/method on how this might be accomplished? Thanks in advance Anthony

Could you clarify what you mean please. Do you mean you want to use webmail? And is this for Android or Apple?

I'm not sure why you'd want to, but you can… At least in iOS you can. http://iosameer.blogspot.com/2013/01/sending-e-mail-in-background-from-ios_25.html Cheers! -- Smug

I would like to specify the parameters because even in my test environment I am presented with 3 choices....gmail, chrome skype. (I want to cut down on any confusion that might occur) I would like to bypass this by only presenting a text box for the message and a send button. Hope this makes sense. Thanks Anthony

Are you referring to just a web form with a text box and a send button?

If you're presented with Choices, you must be using the Android environment… That is typically the method Android uses; let the user decide. But you can still (probably) code it the way you want. http://www.mkyong.com/java/javamail-api-sending-email-via-gmail-smtp-example/ Good Luck! Cheers! -- Smug

Yes....something like that though it may be more of a form with a text box and submit button... Any leads appreciated Thanks Anthony
