Hello :)

Hello All, I am new. My question is about handling data. Primarily my application needs to be able to search (either by category or by a word search) my database where I store a number of products which are tagged by about 7 categories. My question is, what do you guys think is the best way to go about doing this? I do not need to upload data, just need to be able to search where my data is stored (its flexible I can move to where every it is best eg to SQLite) but the data is dynamic and will change over time. Thanks for the aid; I heard you guys are the best! Mak ps I already have a website which is used to search, they need to be linked together. pps I didn't know where I should post this, therefore a double post... Please forgive this one time transgression!

Welcome Mak! First and foremost, I wish the very best for you here at Buzztouch. As it happens, Buzztouch will be having the Oxford meetup this Thursday. This'll be the last for a few months. I just couldn't help noticing you're a Londoner! We often have people from London, Birmingham and Bristol. Oxford is the perfect middle point! We have minds of all levels, and all are welcome. We often have people new to Buzztouch, and I'm here to guide you, along with other users. So here's the details: Thursday 28th November 2013 16:00 - 18:00 (and a really nice pub break to finish) Berlitz Language Centre 131 High Street Oxford OX1 4DH Details on website: www.buzztouchoxford.com In regards to the question, yes, it is possible! I've seen it on one other Buzztouch app (I forget the name), although had little idea how to do it!

@Mak... If you'd like to come to the Buzztouch meet this week, I need to know fairly soon. I just need to know how many people to expect! We often have people who are new to the system, and this weeks meet, we have three of four new people, who can all learn from each other.

It is unlikely that I will be able to get up to Oxford this week. I apologise for that! But thank you!
