tabs on each page (android)

Hi guys, I have two concerns: 1) I am experimenting with a tab view layout but how do keep the tabs on each page? If I click a tab then on an entry it disappears but I want it to stay. Which leads me on the second issue 2) I also want it to be that when I press the right button (set to home atm) takes me to the page with the tabs not just "home" (without the tab). Thanks for the help!

There are a number of posts on the BT forum regarding this issue .. search on google 'site:buzztouch.com android tabbar' for comprehensive list. Apparently it comes down to Android not being the same as Ios(!!!!) and due to Android infrastructure (code) it is quite difficult BUT not impossible to do, so seemingly not too many have tried! Searching through google though I did find this which may be of interest. http://ericharlow.blogspot.com.au/2010/09/experience-multiple-android-activities.html As my forte is php/html/mysql, java does my head in(slowly picking bits up), I would also be very interested in someone cracking some code to do it!

Hi bugPaul, Thanks for the response. I actually did look through the forums and got more confused.., ;) However, I have found that if you use the buzztouch core v3. Then...Ta da.. it all works exactly how we would like it too. Of course you are compromised by having higher android requirements but that is not so much an issue for me. Thanks Mak

Hi Mak, Yeah, unfortunately most of the devices I would like/need to run the App on are older Android 2.3 so the code needs to be a bit different! Regards
