Hello Everyone

Hello! My name is Tom, I'm (primarily) a web developer with experience working with PHP, MySQL, and some dabbling with javascript. I first joined Buzztouch when I was looking for a solution with which to build an app for a News company, and I fell in love with the ability to build apps for both iOS and Android with minimal coding. Having said that, my passion for code got me learning some Java, which syntactically speaking is very similar to PHP, but I'm still very new to Java and to mobile OS development. I'm here to learn and to share, and look forward to meeting everyone! Regards, Tomtom

Welcome to Buzztouch, @Tomtom! From time to time we get some questions around here that need a PHP solution, so you're knowledge will be very welcome! And don't hesitate to speak up if you get stuck on some the nuances of Buzztouch. If you need some help setting things up (at least for Android), give my YouTube channel a view: http://www.youtube.com/user/gonorthwest Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! Mark

Hello Ed, Thomas, Mr Stuck, and Mark, Thanks for the greetings! @Mark, I appreciate the offer, but I've been working with buzztouch for quite some time, and I'm a huge eclipse fan (I use it on nearly all of my projects, regardless of coding language) so setting up Android with the SDK and running my apps on it was a breeze. I'll be happy to lend my php knowledge anywhere it is needed! Also, I'm a bit more comfortable swimming in the Android pool, the Objective-C is still a bit Alien to me, but feel free to message me if I can be of assistance. Regards, Tomtom

Hi TomTom! I think I've seen you posts somewhere before ;) We only have very few PHP experts here, @SmugWimp for one, @PSMDanny to name another one. You are more than welcome here! Nice to see you again. David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

Hi TomTom! I create custom maps for use in a Garmin myself, but don't let that put you out any. ;) Welcome to BT! I know you're going to be a welcome addition to the family! Snoop around and when you have a question, if you can't find it quickly, the forum is the place to be! Cheers! -- Smug
