Configuration information needed

I have created the app, downloaded the source code, and the simulator is stating: The configuration data is invalid. Any suggestions you good people would have would be helpful.

Hi there buddy, pleased to meet you and all that good stuff and congratulations on your first post! Been up and around Detroit on many occasions. If you grab the configuration data and run it through http://jsonlint.com that's a good place to start, can be something simply like an extra comma or apostrophe. Don't hesitate to shout on here if you need anything. Peace

Welcome to Buzztouch, @JK! Keith is right on the money. You can either crack open the BT_Config.txt file that comes with your download package, copy and paste into jsonlint.com, or grab it from the tab in your control panel, and then do the copy/paste action. Let us know what it says. If everything is clean at jsonlint, then let us know what it says in the LogCat pane for Eclipse, or the Debug console for Xcode. Often times that shows the particular error. There's a guide on how to debug in the How-To section of this site. Good luck! Mark

If there is an error in the JSON, then it will show up on jsonlint. Post up the error that it shows and we'll get you sorted!

Okay, the JSON worked and now I can see some information on the simulator. However, the simulator is stating: There is a problem parsing the configuration data. Please make sure that it is well-formed. Any sugguestions? Thank you,

Are you still getting the error? Try copying the config data in your BT control panel and pasting it into the config.txt file in Xcode. Save. Do a clean and then build.

Take out any apostrophe on Control Panel.
