The reason why I say this is because this plugin was made because there weren't any good menu plugins out there, however, now there are so many great plugins that you are spoilt for choice! That plugin was discontinued a bit ago back when 2.1.8 was released. The code just keeps getting more outdated, and with Susans and Chris's Menu with Image plugin, it's not worth updating anymore. If your still using it, I know it may be a pain depending on how many items you have linked, but I would suggest Susans plugin, re-link them.
