Windows Phone?

Just wanted to know if there are any plans to add support for Windows Phone apps in the future. If so, any ETA? Please let me know, thanks.

What the heck? Windows Phone? Pah, this is too funny to even comment seriously on. Here are the official figures: World: 4.1% America: 1.3% UK: 0.9% Europe: 2.3% You can see that unless these figures really improve, it wouldn't be worth it.

@thomas where did you get those numbers? Windows phone growth has been exploding since it's release a couple years ago. It still has a bit to go before it's at android and iphone numbers, but that's to be expected since it's the newest of the 3. According to the IDC Worldwide Mobile Phone Tracker, here are some interesting stats: Market share Q3 2013: Android: 81% iOS: 12.9% Windows phone: 3.6% Growth in comparison to 2012 stats: Android: 51.3% iOS: 25.6% Windows Phone: 156% Not to mention other online app builders (buzztouch competition) allow development of windows phone and windows 8 apps ;P

@piffilypoo, that's why other app builders are way behind us, they spread themselves too thin by trying to support operating systems that are not worth building for, thus losing time and effort they could have used into making their product better for the phones people actually use! @Thomas is right, these numbers make development of apps or making an app builder compatible for it not worth it. You would end up spendings days and many many hours developing an app that 2 people will download and your profit will be in the negatives for cost of development. Not a smart idea to touch windows phone app development, let alone code an app builder for it. Android and iOS change rapidly, it's hard to keep up just supporting iOS and Android, including the app builder (buzztouch), Imagine if buzztouch decided to waste resources, time and money for windows phone apps? Buzztouch would *certainly* become out of date with iOS and Android, trying to set up Windows for 3 users trying to make apps for it. Of course, you never know, but you don't have to be an analyst to see it's not going to catching on anytime soon. Funny thing about technology, like I said, it changes rapidly. However, facts are facts, and developing an app builder or developing apps for windows is not only not worth it, but a bad idea. David https://buzztouchmods.com

More importantly than windows phone, I think being able to make apps for the windows 8 app store would be most valuable. Every windows 8 desktop, laptop, or tablet comes with an app store, so there's a huge market for that. To give you an idea, a few months ago I converted one of my basic buzztouch android apps into a windows store app (which was even more basic, since I know little to no code), and to my surprise it was actually beginning to out-sell my android version, making $700 in the first week & 1/2 of it being on the market ($6.99 app) In comparison, the buzztouch android version was making roughly $1500 monthly. Both apps unfortunately are no longer in the marketplace ;P

My guess is that if the other app-builder websites support Windows phones, it's for one important reason - those sites use entirely HTML5 for their apps, not native code.
