Hey, din't think it was my place to mention it on the forums, but since David already did, I thought a post for the BT community to give their respects and prayers and love or whatever to Ian. Ian is a fantastic guy, had a blast with him in Buzzcon last year, and you just cannot help loving this guy. Life was unfair to him, so I wanted to show him my support and "Ian, we're here for you, hope you heal with time and come back to us, we miss you here. Stay safe" Cheers Miguel

No words can express how truly sorry I am for the loss that struck such a great and compassionate man. Always welcoming and with a gentle smile. Never complaining. Never mentioning of what was really going on in his own personal life. Ian, although most of us are just words on a screen. Know that we sense your heart throughout your training us. I hope you don't mind me asking, but what has happened to Ian. This is the first I've heard of this, and unfortunately, it sounds bad. May my wishes be with him.

Ian has been the caregiver of his wife who has lost the battle with cancer at extremely young age. He was extremely private about the whole thing. I only know about it because he mentioned briefly in a conversation when I met him in San Diego. Loosing a brother at young age to colon rectal cancer I have seen first hand what this does to families. I think we all unfortunately have dealt with this horrible disease in one form or another. I was trying to find an obituary just to post but I found this a family member must of posted: http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/caring-for-ian/111081 I hope that Ian's Buzztouch family could participate in helping this AMAZING contributor and heart of this community. I personally am donating because he has been there for me more than once to walk me through the maze of coding. If you don't know Ian Ritter just look at youtube of all the video tutorials he has providing to the community.
