keep getting this error guys, missing plugin: the view controller for this plugin was not compiled in the xcode project its right after my splash screen, it wont wont go any further, ive checked to make sure any plugins are in the folder, cleaned, re downloaded, still same error cheers sean

no buzztouch, it happened since i added the jason snippet keeper, couldnt get it working, so i deleted the page from the project, redownloaded the project, cleaned, relaunched, now all i get is the above error, all i can find is bt plugin missing, configurenavbar (super) for screen with itemid: error view controller has no itemid sean

I'm looking into this. The JSON Snippet keeper is not a true plugin, so it doesn't have any class files or view controller. You should not get any errors when building regarding this plugin. -Chris

I just tested this out.... I added a JSON snippet keeper plugin to a BT3.0 iOS project and downloaded the project. It did download a folder for the Snippet Keeper plugin (which it never used to with 2.0). And the included .h and .m files were there, but mostly blank. The project compiled without any errors with Xcode 5.

I also tried deleting the plugin folder completely to see if the project even needed the empty files to compile. It does not need them. It compiled fine without them.

still getting the missing plugin screen after the splash screen, even though ive taken the jason out of the project here, all ive got is spalsh/menubuttons/menuimage/map plugins which are all in the project, ive deleted the project from xcode, cleaned , closed down, reuploaded new project from here, without the jason, only the plugins above, but still getting the first error above about missing plugin, is it cos im using the new core 3 project, will try using the old one, see if that works cheers Sean

you know its always something realy simple, that i spend hours trying to figure out with xcode lol, i was forgetting to reset the settings in the simulator, sorry guys, all sorted now, thanks for your help sean

We ALL make stupid mistakes that take hours. Don't be embarrassed I'm sure everyone who has posted has made a really simple mistake that took hourss to figure out.
