Hello all I am trying to s=distribute my first in house app through apple enterprise. I want to distribute through a link. It says i need to create this xml file in xcode http://help.apple.com/iosdeployment-apps/mac/1.1/#app43ad78b3. I have never done this before does anyone hknow how to do this. Should I add info provided in the infoplist?

Please take what I say with a grain of salt, but I 'think' it's created automatically when you prepare your app for enterprise distribution. Kind of glance over My/Rawls tutorial on Over The Air distribution https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/BTOTA.pdf That may have a hint or two, but it's not exactly created with 'enterprise' in mind, so again, it may not be exactly correct for your use… Sorry I can't give you definitive answers... Well, those modifications are only if you're going to distribute via BT Over the Air… but the part where the xml file is built should work regardless… I think, lol! Cheers! -- Smug

I think the xml info plist was just required info that had to be in the info plist. I think bt has those strings already in it. Now i have the required info.plist and ipa but its not downloading on to my device when i click the link.

Since it's enterprise the purpose is to set it up so that I do not need the udid. I have the right prov profiles. Maybe I'll delete them and try again. Hmm I followed instructions closely. I think it's the php for the self hosted. In your tutorial why we're there instructions for changing the php?

There are instructions because the version we were using (v2.1.9) had some issues, and the modifications corrected those issues. Not sure if they were fixed in BTv3 self hosted; it's worth checking into. The modifications pertained to having the right file available at the right URL in the correct format. Without those modifications, OTA did not work in BT v2.1.9 Cheers! -- Smug
