Hi Guys, hope everyone is gearing up / winding down for the festive season. I'm running BT 2.1.8 on self-hosted. I'll be honest and say I'm not an early adopter, and I'd like to hood back a little while before updating to 3.0. The issue I'm having is that the HTML Pro plugin doesn't play nice on the self-hosted version. I'm almost certain (from forum searches) that it's because the newest plugins don't have an index.php (as 3.0 doesn't need them) and this is throwing up the "A problem occurred while saving the entries (2)" when I try to save changes. So, my question is can I get hold of an older plugin version (with the index.pho file included) or do I have to update the core? Thanks in advance.

Probably available, but that's going to have to come from the Developer. Chris1 is pretty easy to work with. If you send him a PM explaining your situation, I'm sure he'll fix you up when he gets a moment. Cheers! -- Smug

Like you, I used to prefer to wait for things to settle down a while before upgrading, but I have learned that this is actually the wrong approach for buzztouch. I found that the plugins do not check for which version of CP you are running AND that they are not always backwards compatible. So if you are on 2.1.8 and one day you decide to refresh all your plugins, one or more of the new ones may not work any more. If you select to download your project with the previous version (not 3.0) from the download screen, it should package up the older v2.0 versions of the plugins as well. -Chris
