Hi, Hope you are doing great. I am creating an android version of my iOS app. I created all the required screens on the BT Control Panel. But I am a complete novice in Android. Can you kindly tell me what what software to download like android studio etc and then how to create project in it, preview app on simulator and then how to export the finish android app. I know I am asking for too much but I am totally novice in Android. The best place to start is GoNorthWest (Mark Fleming) YouTube channel. There you will learn how to download and use Android Studio, how to import your BT project and how to create a .apk file to upload to Google Play Store. Welcome to the dark side :o)

I'm also new, and curious about what "android-studio" and "eclipse" are, and their differences. Must I use "eclipse" or may I use "android-studio"?

Mark, I watched your video on installing Eclipse for Mac. I'm running into issues trying to follow it. When I search for "Get Android SDK" and click the link, I get a page with just two button choices: one for Android Studio, and one for Stand-Alone SDK Tools. The page says: "Installing the Android SDK" "Select the SDK bundle you want to install:" "[ Android Studio ] [ Stand-Alone SDK Tools ]" ... And if I click on "Stand-Alone SDK Tools" I'm told there is no developer environment there. I'm steered toward "Android Studio" to get a complete developer environment. Can I still get Eclipse somewhere? If so, would it be better to do so?

Note: I just read on this page: "http://developer.android.com/tools/sdk/eclipse-adt.html" ...that: "Note: If you have been using Eclipse with ADT, be aware that Android Studio is now the official IDE for Android, so you should migrate to Android Studio to receive all the latest IDE updates. For help moving projects, see Migrating to Android Studio." Any advice on that?

Don't use Eclipse. Use Android Studio. When you Download your project from BT, you will see that Android Studio is referenced.

Sorry for the delay in responding, everybody! I was in surgery yesterday so I didn't have internet access. Buzztouch requires Android Studio now...Eclipse won't work (maybe it would, but it would be way difficult). I do have some videos on my YouTube channel that should help. They are somewhat dated, but should still be relevant. If anybody needs help, don't hesitate to shout out! Mark
