Metadata rejected - images from simulator not good enough

One little complaint about my mag. app. the reviewer did not like that I had only used simulator screenshots - no one ever mentioned this along the way. So I have taken new shots using iPhone 5C 3.5 but can't seem to load them on to iTunes page. The size is correct and the DPI is correct that just leaves the RGB colour space. Anyone know how I can check and if need be change the settings on the colour of an image?

I use Simulator screenshots all the time, so that's a bit weird! And iPhone 5C 3.5? The 5C is 4, not 3.5. You can check the size is correct by opening the images in Preview and going to Tools > Adjust size. I found once that although it is the size of the device, actually they want it double (or sometimes triple the size) so they can shrink and enlarge when needed.

I *always* use simulator images, As long as I use the sizes that Apple dictate, I have never ever had a problem. Why would the quality be worse?

Thanks guys. Still learning new stuff everyday. I knew televisions were measured corner to corner not width x height but not phones. Anyway will soon see if the reviewer likes the new ones or not. It is odd though because the pictures on the simulator look exactly like the ones on the phone.

Those of you using simulator only screenshots, are you testing only on the simulator too, or are you using an iphone or ipad?? How do you take screenshots from the simulator? Do you use a program, or just do command+shift+4 to capture that area??

I test on simulator, iPhone 4, 5 and iPad Air. In the top bar on Mac where it has the apple logo and iOS simulator etc, there is an option in one of the menus to save a screenshot to the desktop.
