Google Web Developer

This looks super cool! I can imagine lots of things you could do for your apps with this program. http://www.google.com/webdesigner/ Mark

Started using it today. I've never jumped into HTML but this is pretty easy to use so far. Ryan

@GoNorthWest I made a 320x568 file with a youtube video. How do I get the file or code into the HTML plugin? I tried cut and pasting the code into the source area but that didn't really work out. I've published the GWD page as an uncompressed HTML file. Thanks, Ryan

You're way ahead of me, Ryan! I haven't worked with this yet. But, if the output is an HTML file, you can put the file in BT_Docs, and then using the HTML Plugin to reference the file. That plugin allows you to specify a local filename, or a URL.

Thanks for sharing, nice find. Google also has the google app engine, https://cloud.google.com/products/app-engine Though I have not yet tried it out, YALTL (yet another language to learn). Google is into everything these days... Cheers!

@Go, I caught one of your earlier threads and figured that out. I do have a background image associated with the HTML output file and i placed it in both Docs and Images in Xcode but it doesn't load. There is no place to put 2 files in 1 plugin so it's obviously not associated properly in Xcode.

The image should be referenced like <img src="imagename.jpg"> in the HTML of the page. You don't need to reference the image in the plugin at all...just in the HTML code. Best place to look for errors is the debug console. That may point out what's amiss. Mark

From the demo video, it seems to be concentrating on making advertisements in place of the Flash ads that we often see. The competition is the more mature iAds Producer from Apple. It is used by Ad Agencies and Designers to make those creative mucho-dinero mobile advertisements. https://developer.apple.com/iad/iadproducer/ To see examples of those iAds, download this iAds Gallery app into your iPhone or iPad. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/iad-gallery/id424733624?mt=8

Nice. Looks like they totally hijacked the Adobe Edge Animate program and made a freebie out of it. Will def have to give this a look - Thanks for posting!
