Maverick problem

Hey guys, non BT problem. I'm using Maverick. And now, for some reason, if I have a folder who's name includes a "." like the source-ios-2.0, maverick changes the icon from a folder icon into a a firefox parallels icon? Any ideas on why? Miguel

You might try Apple discussion forums. https://www.google.com/?#q=osx+mavericks+and+hidden+files If the link itself doesn't work in your browser, do your own search on those keywords: osx+mavericks+and+hidden+files

Does this happen at the OSX Mavericks Finder level, or in an Application? What is "firefox parallels"? I only think of Parallels as a Windows emulator on OSX.

Are you running Parallels desktop? It looks like Firefox is the default program associated with opening files with the extension .0 in Windows.

You should check support forums for Parallels and Firefox. One of the two is telling Finder how to associate files.
