I have tried creating an app a month or 2 ago but then gave up because of an error. I am now back at it and determined to get my app up and running.. Problem is, I download the .zip, link the play services library and everything seems fine. Cancelling 'com.mixedapples.BT_activity_start activity launch'! when I install the app on my tablet, it brings up the following error: "There was a problem loading the app's configuration data. See the output console in your development tool (Eclipse, Android Studio, etc). (2) I have no idea what to do now. I will say Android can be rather pesky, but it's something we try to work through. Hopefully your problem isn't too difficult. Are you sure the emulator you've chosen matches the SDK level of the project you're working on? The emulator will need to be at Android v3+ or so that it will work with a BTv3 project... If you've got a minute or two, Mark (GoNorthWest) has some excellent videos on getting started in Android... like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgurXKgP2AE he might touch on something that still needs to be done. I do my android on a Mac, so I'm not always certain of how things can go on other platforms. Mark does his stuff on 'everything', so he notes a lot of 'gotchas' that others can overlook.
