How can I add music to my app without having to stream it?

I want to include some music in my app but don't want to require an internet connection?

Because you have access to the source-code to your project, there are countless ways to do this. The buzztouch control panel does not have an way to do this natively (yet?). Build your app, then download the project. Next, open up the project and add the .mp3 file to the Sound directory. After that, it's a matter of writing a little objective C (Java for Android) to play the sound-file. Again, there are lots of ways to do this. Start by reading this. http://iphoneincubator.com/blog/audio-video/simple-way-to-play-mp3-audio-files If you don't have any success, re-post your results and we'll go from there.

Hi moapp, like I mentioned before, there are tons of ways to do this. I looked at your app in the simulator - awesome. The delay between the tap and the sound is annoying but cool none-the-less. Because of the nature of your project, it makes sense to me that the sounds would play instantly. And, the arrows on each menu item should not show too because the menu items don't lead to anything. I'm working out a good solution for you, hang tight, should have some source-code for you to cut-n-paste in a few hours.

awesome. I'm guessing you had no trouble understanding the code-adjustments. IMPORTANT: Because your application is now slightly different than the standard downloadable package, please be sure to save those two files so you can reference them should you need to in the future. Example: A newer version of the Xcode project is released and you download it to send to the App Store and your end users. In this case, you would need to make those changes again unless we incorporated them in the app by default (which we may do, they are good ideas!). So, go for it, enjoy it, and sell the heck out of the neatest buzztouch app I've seen in awhile.
