How do I install my app on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch?

You will need an Apple Provisioning Profile to install your application on a device. Provisioning Profiles are created and downloaded from the Apple Developer Portal (iOS Dev Center). This means you will need to create a new Apple Developer account if you have not already. After creating and downloading your Provisioning Profile in the iOS developer portal, drag it onto the Xcode icon, this should launch Xcode. Choose it in the application build settings. Choose Device from the drop-down list that allows you to select your device or simulator when building and running. When you select your device (connect it to your computer first) it will ask you to confirm that you want to install the Provisioning Profile on the device.

Yup, after you get approved you will make some simple configuration changes to your apps properties. In Build Settings, you'll choose a Provision Profile to Code Sign the app with. The provisioning profile comes from Apple. There are detailed instructions on the Apple Dev site for how to do this. After you have it on your device, and it tests good, you'll do the same thing with a Distribution Certificate, also from Apple. You can submit as many apps you want to Apple, they don't charge per App, the $99 covers it. Halloween Sounds, Thanksgiving Sounds, Christmas Sounds, Funny Sounds, etc. You could do quite well at .99 price. Good luck.

Apple will charge you $99.00 before allowing you to install your apps on any iOS device. bogus but true. You can run on simulator for free with the SDK, just not on a phone.

Yes ArtDesign, or find a friend with an account and ask them to give up one of their 100 devices for development.
