What version of Xcode do I download?

I have created my app, but have not been able to compile it? When I launch Xcode and open the project (I downloaded the source-code from my control panel) it says missing SDK - I'm not sure what this means?

We get this question alot. From the Apple Developer Portal website, download the iOS SDK - it comes with Xcode. The download is large but there is not a way to install the iOS developer tools inside Xcode without downloading the entire package. If anyone knows of a way to do this, let us know? Anyway, download the new iOS SDK, install it, then try again. This has worked hundreds of times for lots of folks.
