BTA Design Menu icons and images

Hello, I am working on my first app and I have some questions about using icons in the menu list rows. 1)Where (in which folder) do I have to save the icons/images in Xcode? 2)Do I need to save them with a special name (for example "default.png")? 3)Do I need to upload two sizes (small and large device)? Thanks

1. Bt images 2. PNG works best but others work as well 3. You do that once you get to iTunes Connect before submitting.

If you're going to do the Apple dance, the answer to most of that is 'yes'. The basic stuff, icons, backgrounds and such are in the 'BT_Art' directory. If you're going to replace the images (highly advised) ensure the names are identical to the ones you're going to replace. BT has 'pre-inserted' images as 'placeholders', but they're not very pretty. "Your" images will go into the 'BT_Images' directory. Remember that although you 'upload' images into your control panel, those images (other than the app icon) are NOT put into your package; they must be added manually after download. (You can however download resources in a nice zipped package from the file/media manager in your control panel) For a list of Apple images (usually) required: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/userexperience/conceptual/mobilehig/IconsImages/IconsImages.html Before you start: https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Things_You_Need_Before_You_Start_Developing_Apps_v1.1.pdf Adding new resources to the app: https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Adding_Files_To_A_Project_v1.0.pdf When things go 'boom': https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/Problem_Reporting_and_Basic_Debug_v1.0.pdf And then of course, if that does no good, come back and let me know what I missed! Cheers! -- Smug
