Hostgator Push Notifications

Hi, I'm trying to send push notification on self hosted. I had hostgator migrate my control panel from another hoster. Hi Miguel. Have you tried to use a different program to get to those ports from outside Hostgator? i.e. try the following from either Terminal (on Mac) or DOS (on Windows): > telnet <your-domain-name or IP at Hostgator> <port-number> It could be that Hostgator is blocking the ports you need from outside access. I'm not a network guru, but normally allowing both inbound & outbound access to those ports should resolve your issues. Let me know how it goes, as I was considering trying Hostgator (been using BlueHost for a very long time and never had any issues so far, but good to try someone different once in a while). Hi Miguel. Try the above test first. If you get no response then Hostgator is blocking those ports. Then talk to Hostgator tech support to see if they can open those ports just for your domain/IP both inbound & outbound (just to be sure) :-) Good luck!

I get no responce. Hostgator says they can only open outbound. :(
