Saying No to Use Current Location

So, I have a question for anyone who has used plugins with location services, e.g. weather plugin. What if you say "No" to allow using your location? You will never get promoted and asked for your location again, so basically that screen that uses your location will not work. How do you get around this non-functional screen? Is this something that Apple might complain about when reviewing a app for the App Store? Should there be a settings screen to allow a user to change this setting to allow location services in the future inside the app? Just wondering how others are handling this. Thanks.

I always enable location in the core properties, and I always include that 'allow GPS' screen, regardless of the Apps current content. You never know about tomorrow. So far, *no one* has said boo about that part of the app. Either their location services are always on anyway, or no one cares. I'm hoping for the former. When the app initially starts, it always asks 'xxx would like to use your location' and That's when they have an option to turn it off. Or later, in the settings/location services. Cheers! -- Smug

I think that's pretty consistent with most apps. If I get asked once, and say No, I never get asked again. But, there's always a screen available that lets me turn it on. As an end user, if I said No once, and got prompted again each time I opened up the app until I finally said Yes...I'd delete that app in about two seconds. Mark
