new arm7 warning out of the blue

Crazy how all of a sudden, after many archivings without this yellow warning, I get when archiving, warning: all apps should include an armv7 architecture (current ARCHS = "armv7s"). Do I really have to change this or can I just go ahead. The only change I made from the last successful archiving and testing the archive (whihc worked, without errors) was a change to the name in CF Bundle Display. Thanks Steve

Actually now when validating, I fail validation because of this. Why oh why did it pass validation yesterday when, again, all I changed was the name?

I too got this error yesterday while i was archiving my app for submission. Got my answer form this link- http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10020655/warning-all-apps-should-include-an-armv7-architecture-current-archs I had to set the Debug and Release value to NO in "Build Active Architecture Only" field.

Sandeep, In the Target's Build Settings, I just see one entry that says Build Active Architecture Only. I can set that to no bu t I don't see where you see a Debug and Release setting. Am I looking in the right place?

It should automatically put your release/debug to no, did you try compiling? Do it for both project and target. David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

Yes you are looking at the right place. You need to expand that field by clicking it on the right side. There you will see the Debug and Release settings.

Should I do it in Project settings also? There is the exact same settings there. Also I get a setting for AdHoc too, besides release and debug. Should that stay as "yes"?

I also see that if I just click no before expanding, it sets all the setting to no when expanding, as David said above. Will try to build and archive and see what happens. Thanks all.

Sandeep has it right. No problem. Let us know if you got it working. I would always do it for both project/target, regardless of any other settings you do, seems to fix most issues for me. David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

I'm glad that the Buzztouch crew could help you out here! The approval process, as you probably know, is quite nerve-racking, although you'll live.
